I have had a great week!
I feel good and am enjoying a stress free week at the lake. My brother and his wife, Curt and Sheila, are visiting us so we have done lots of fishing and just relaxing.
I have no internet at the lake so I am writing this note from the RMCC. I see Dr. Terstriep today at 9:30 so I brought my computer to town to add this quick update. I will write more next week.
Next Monday is chemo #5. I am looking forward to getting it done but also dreading not feeling well again. Just gotta plow through it and get it done!!!
Enjoy the warm days ahead of us!
So glad to hear you've had a little fun! I am enjoying the lake too! Last "weekday" before I officially head back on Monday. Looks like a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHeather,
DeleteI'm so glad you finally got some WELL-DESERVED days off! I hope you had a few minutes to get some R and R!!!
I will think of you Monday morning as you head back to work! :-)

I've been thinking of you, and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we're glad you got to relax and do some fishing instead of writing in the blog! We continue to walk with you on this journey - or is it ride the waves of adventure?!

Hi Phyllis,
DeleteWe had a great, laid-back, relaxing time with Curt and Sheila...and the fishing was good too!
I'm not sure if I'm walking or riding on this venture because sometimes I'm lying down, especially after my infusions!!!!
It was fun to see you and Michael two weekends ago!
Take care,
Verna
Hope you enjoyed your time at the lake, Verna! Think about you often! You are such a strong lady! Continue to send many hugs and prayers your way:)
ReplyDeleteHi Jen,
DeleteThanks for the prayers and hugs sent to me. I really, really do appreciate all the support! It helps me get through the "not so fun" days.
We haven't had a whole lot of time to spend at the lake this summer other than weekends, so spending most of the week there was great fun.
Give your girls a hug for me!
Verna
